I use Google maps on my travel site to show people where the best Hotels are in Bangkok.

It is also possible to put in the starting location and ending location for a journey and print out a route map.

I have successfully done this to get from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchatani in the North East and to Amphawa in the South West and only got lost once.

When you are in a foreign country this simple map making application is really helpful to get around.

I am busy creating maps and hyperlinking places of interest back to my website so visitors can get much more information about the particulary place.

You are not old fashioned. I share your POV on this.

"T-Mobile uses 1700MHz for much of their high speed internet. That’s nice and all but no one else uses it."

Hate to correct you but that's just not true.

Two new carriers in Canada -- Mobilicity (http://mobilicity.ca/) and WIND Mobile (http://windmobile.ca/) -- have licenses to offer 3G service in the AWS spectrum only.

These two upstarts are doing Canadians a great service by challenging the incumbent carriers here with cheaper plans and unlimited data.

Simply put, without T-Mobile ordering AWS handsets in large numbers WIND and Mobilicity would probably have fewer if any handsets to sell...
