Unfortunately I missed watching the presidential inauguration live yesterday (I did watch later) but that was because I was taking care of my daughter, but it made me realize that because of the time of day the ceremony takes place some parts of the US is still asleep. According to US law the inauguration must take place at 12 noon, but that means that most of Hawaii is still asleep, and I think that leaves them out. I don’t know how they feel about it but it annoys me. I know when the law was written Hawaii was not part of the Union but it is now and I think we should have the law amended.
That’s just my 2 cents.
