I have an idea for Nokia. I think it is a brilliant idea and can’t understand if they haven’t done this yet. My idea is to give Robert Scoble an N82 US version. He is not trying to show off his phone or advertise the technology but he is. Robert gets asked regularly “What phone is that that your using to video me?” during his interviews. Now he is using a Nokia N95-3 but there are newer and slicker models out on the market that I truly believe he should just be given to use.

Come on Nokia this is free advertising for you. If this is immoral then just lend it to him for an extended period until the next new device comes out he should be using and then replace it with the new one.

I was just in Barcelona for Mobile World Congress and use the N95 that WOM World let me borrow to make videos of my interviews and many of the people were enthralled with this idea and wanted to ask me about it. It’s sexy just like the internet was sexy about a dozen years ago. Robert Scoble has started a sexy trend that I would like to follow.

Anyways, someone send Robert an N82. Nokia, S60, WOM World, Andy Abramson, Qik, someone, anyone, send him the phone and get a ton of free press.
